Graphic Design, Art Direction and Communication for the temporary exhibition Picasso Cyprus, Encounters with the ceramics of the Mediterranean, a co-production by the Museu Picasso Barcelona and the Cyprus Museum.
The exhibition's visual concept is built around four key elements: a typographic approach that evokes the dialogue between two perspectives; a Mediterranean-inspired colour palette; silhouettes of forms and volumes that shape the visual language; and the two tripod vessels, which serve as the starting point for the exhibition's narrative.
Based on these elements, a graphic system was developed to guide visitors through the exhibition using colour, typography and the introductory texts of its nine thematic sections. Working in harmony with the exhibition design, it reinforces the prominence of the objects on display.
The communication campaign was developed in three different versions to reflect the richness of the dialogue between Picasso's ceramics and Cypriot antiquities, adapting the visual concept across a wide range of communication materials while maintaining a coherent identity throughout.
